The Isle of Wight Council Elections are coming up in 2021 and the Island has about 68,400 households to deliver leaflets to, which is expensive. Everything we've achieved on the Island until now has been the work of a very committed team of volunteers who need your support to win.
If every Islander that voted Green gave just £1 per week, we would build a fighting fund of over £670,000 per year. We could achieve so much with only a tenth of that amount.
We realise that not everyone on the Island has money they can afford to donate now. That's why we're asking for small, regular sums to build a sustainable income.
Please consider making a donation to our Green Party fighting fund. You can do that by direct bank transfer, by standing order, by sending us a cheque, or in cash at one of our public events. Details of our bank account are on the standing order form.
In order to comply with election law, donors need to be on the United Kingdom electoral register, and to give us their name and address. Please download the standing order form to fill in and return these details. If you aren't registered to vote, now is the perfect time to register at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
You can also make a one-off payment or regular donation with PayPal, here:
PayPal balances, debit cards and credit cards can be accepted. (Please note that PayPal deducts at least 3.4% plus 20p per donation. Using direct bank transfer or standing order allows us to keep all the money donated).
If you cannot afford to donate at the moment but could volunteer some time, you would be very welcome to join our team. Please contact us.
