Get Green news and updates

The Isle of Wight Green Party uses email as our main method for reaching members and supporters on the Island and beyond. Our mailing list is especially important for communication if you do not use Facebook or Twitter. You can leave or re-join the mailing list at any time.

To receive occasional email from both the national and local parties about key events and actions taking place, sign up to our mailing list.

You should receive a confirmation email shortly afterwards. We'll keep your details safe and won't pass your information on to anyone else.

Come and meet us

Join us at one of our monthly meetings from 7-9pm, on the 3rd Monday of every month, where we;

  • Discuss important local and national topics
  • Organise upcoming events
  • Outline future campaigns
  • Hear from your local Green councillors

Our monthly meetings take place around the Island so look out for the next location in an email prior to the meeting. Or, check our events page for meeting details, plus information on many more Green events and socials!

Join the Green Party

We are proud to do politics differently but we need determined, caring people like you to help us make it happen. Join the thousands of people who are already members and stand up for what matters.

Being a member means being able to vote in our elections to shape the future of the Green Party, getting updates on the campaigns you are making happen and receiving invitations to our events. It also means supporting the only political party dedicated to fighting for climate justice. We will also put you in touch with your local party if you’d like to get active in green issues locally.

So what are you waiting for? Join now.

Volunteer

Even if you don't want to make the commitment of joining us, we always welcome supporters and volunteers. Volunteers can help with admin, our campaign work, delivering leaflets, or go out with our other Greens and speak to local residents about their concerns.

Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you.

To get involvedplease email Daniel Jamesour local party chair.

Donate

The Isle of Wight Council Elections are coming up in 2021 and the Island has about 68,400 households to deliver leaflets to, which is expensive.

If you're unable to volunteer any of your time but can afford to give to our campign fund, go to our donate page.

Stand for Council

Ever wanted to get more involved in local politics and really make a difference in your communities?

Whether it's our local town or parish councils, or the Isle of Wight Council, we need lots of enthusiastic, committed and hard-working candidates.

We are particularly keen to ensure diversity amongst our candidates and you must be a paid-up member of the Green Party and support it's main aims and policies.

If you're interested, please email Daniel Jamesour local party chair.
