Vix Lowthion, isle of wight East
I’m standing as your new MP because the residents of Isle of Wight East deserve better. For too long we have elected an MP who works on behalf of their large, Westminster party and not the needs of islanders.
I’ve lived on the Isle of Wight for nearly 20 years – first moving to Bonchurch in 2005.. My 3 boys were born here, work and go to school here. I’m a classroom teacher in island schools, and I see first hand the consequences of over a decade of government failures which impact on the most vulnerable in our communities.
My top priorities are to support our local economy and culture, to strengthen our public services, and to protect our unique island countryside and coastlines.

Cameron Palin, Isle of Wight West
I was born and raised here on the Island, I am proud of our local communities, local businesses and countryside. As a father to my young son, and as a Cover teacher, I work hard in my local community to give our young people the best possible opportunities.
I am an experienced local councillor and Deputy Mayor, ready to hit the ground running in Westminster. Together, I know we can make our island a better place for us all, and as your MP I would deliver real meaningful change for islanders.
My top priorities are to ensure NHS services kept here on the island, protecting our environment, nationalising our ferries and investing in green industries to ensure greater, green jobs for all.
