Asian Hornets threaten Island bees

The Asian Hornet is a non-native species in the UK, first sighted here in 2016. Each Hornet reportedly has the appetite to eat up to 50 bees - our native pollinators - in a single day. Please keep a look out for these visitors with their dark bodies and yellow legs, and report any sightings by emailing with location details and a photo, if possible.
